Northern Lights wake up call service
Hotel Laugarbakki is one of the best places to see the Northern Lights in Iceland. We are located in a fjord called Miðfjörður where three weather systems meet. The area is known for having the least downfall of rain/snow in Iceland. This fact makes our location ideal for Northern Lights scouting because for Northern Lights to appear the sky needs to be clear.
We offer our guests a Northern Lights wake up call service which includes the following:
- A local mobile phone for wake up calls from our staff that notify you of Northern Lights
- A blanket to keep you warm
- Coffee, tea or hot chocolate
- A sandwich and sweets
We kindly ask that you return the mobile phone and the blanket at check-out.
